I think that most people are dismayed by The Pope's bizarre Christmas message , likening the importance of condemning male homosexuality and trans-sexualism to that of saving rainforests .
Apart of course from hardline 'traditional' Catholics , and anyone with a strong aversion to gay men .
Which if they've been abused by gay paedophile Catholic Priests is understandable.
Most people , especially younger people nowadays have no problem with gay and lesbian relationships between consenting adults ( and why should they ) , and will feel deterred from Catholicism by His Holiness's recently reported remarks .
And what the hell is his point ?
That if everyone became non-breeding homosexuals there'd be no more humans - ?
Our planet is overpopulated enough as it is , Oh Holy Father . . .
Or was he referring to Aids/Hiv ? - If so he should be preaching the 'safe sex' message that all responsible gay men adhere to .
Instead he crashingly boringly bangs on about the sinfulness of condoms , gleefully subjugating poor African Catholics to more and more hungry babies and more Hiv/Aids .
To traditionalist Catholics , ALL sexual thoughts and actions outside of regular , babymaking intercourse between married Catholic heterosexual couples are sinful , the greatest sin of all is sodomy between males , and they do'nt like to acknowledge lesbianism at all .
Perhaps no surprise ( though no excuse ) that this unrealistic repressiveness led to a sick culture of sexual and sado-sexual abuse , amongst some Catholic Priests and Nuns . ( Not to say that a lot of Catholics are'nt good moral people , and I know that the Cafod Charity does good work . )
I watched the ( 2008 ) movie 'One Missed Call' ( another U.S japanese horror remake ) , which is quite like 'The Ring' films ( I'm not enough of a 'film buff' to have seen the Japanese originals ) , fused with a bit of the 'Final Destination' ones .
Instead of teenagers dying after watching a mysteriously evil videotape it's teenagers dying after getting cellphone voicemail messages from themselves in the near future .
And , honestly , it includes a scene of an Exorcism of a cellphone !
It's only one hour 18 and a half minutes not including the end credits . There's one genuinely chilling scene near the end , and of course it paves the way for a possible sequel .
A couple of nights ago I watched the 2005 film 'An American Haunting' : Kind of an amalgam of The Exorcist , The Entity and Sleepy Hollow , and not very good .

Make an effort to look up the original ring films (Ringu is worth watching but don't bother with the rest, it's all too involved) they're seriously scary. I had to sleep with a piece of cloth over my TV for a week after watching it.
And I think you already know my thoughts about the Pope's comments.
